⚠️ DRAFT — we're still checking this page with real families before it becomes official.
What Max remembers about you 🧠✨
Hi! We're the people who made SumSpark. Here's the honest truth about what we know about you —
in normal words. (Younger mathematicians: read this with a grown-up.)
What we know about you
- The username your grown-up picked for you, and your first name so Max can say hello properly.
- What school year you're in — so your questions aren't too easy or too hard.
- The answers you give, and which topics you're brilliant at (and which need a bit more practice).
- What you and Max talk about.
- Your stars and badges. ⭐
What we DON'T know
- Your birthday. 🎂 (Only roughly how old you are.)
- Where you live. 🏠
- Your email or phone number. 📵
- What you look like. 📷
We don't show you adverts, and we never sell anything about you to anyone. Ever.
Things you should know
- Your grown-up can read your chats with Max. That's their job — keeping you safe.
(And here's a secret: when they look, our computers write that down too.)
- Max is a computer, not a person. Clever, but not magic — and Max never marks
your answers. A different bit of ordinary computer code checks those, the same way a calculator would.
- If you tell Max something worrying — like something that's making you sad or
scared — we don't just ignore it. A real, trusted grown-up at SumSpark finds out, so someone can
help you. You will never be in trouble for telling Max something.
- Your stuff is locked to your family. No other family, and no other kid, can ever
see your practice, your chats or your stars.
If you want something gone
Ask your grown-up to tell us, and we'll delete it properly. That's your right — it's the law,
and we think it's fair too.
Questions? Get your grown-up to email privacy@sumspark.co.uk and a human
(not Max!) will answer.
